The basics
What HubbuyCN is, in one paragraph
A buying agent is a company in China that buys things for people who are not in China. You send a product link, they place the order with the seller using a Chinese account and a Chinese payment method, the seller ships to their warehouse, and they forward it to you. HubbuyCN does this, and also runs a separate forwarding service for parcels you bought yourself.
The reason this business exists is mundane. Most Chinese marketplace sellers will not ship abroad, will not take a foreign card, and will not answer messages in English. The agent absorbs all three problems.
Who runs it
These details come from the footer and help centre of the official site. They matter because an agent holds your goods and your money for weeks at a time, so you should know who the counterparty is.

What it does that is genuinely useful
Four things, all of which we could verify on the official site rather than infer from marketing copy.
- One warehouse for four marketplaces. The shopping guide names Taobao, JD.com and Tmall, and 1688 appears with its own note about seller minimum order quantities.
- A free appearance check with photographs. Items are inspected on arrival and photographed so you can look before committing to freight.
- A long storage window. 300 days for a normal parcel, which turns many small orders into one shipment.
- Forwarding as a separate product. If you already bought something and had it sent to a Chinese address, you can use the warehouse without using the buying service.
All four confirmed on hubbuycn.com, checked 1 Aug 2026.

The honest part
Why HubbuyCN, and when to choose another agent
We are a partner site and we earn nothing if you never order. That is exactly why this section exists: recommending an agent for a job it is bad at is how guides lose readers permanently.
Reasonable fit
- You buy across several Chinese marketplaces and want one parcel.
- You can wait. Weeks, not days.
- You want photographs of the real item before paying freight.
- You need forwarding for a parcel already sitting at a Chinese address.
Poor fit
- One cheap item on its own. International freight will cost more than the item.
- Anything urgent. Buying, inspection, storage and freight all add days.
- Authenticity questions. The inspection explicitly does not test that.
- Electronics you need tested. Function is outside the check.
- Support in your own hours. The desk runs Beijing time.
What it is not
HubbuyCN does not manufacture anything, does not hold stock of its own, and does not set the prices you see. Those belong to the marketplace sellers. It also cannot promise that a courier will be on time or that a customs officer will wave your box through, and the official pages say so in plain language rather than burying it.
We mention this because the previous version of this website claimed the brand curated thousands of products from trusted factories. It does not, and it never said it did. That copy has been removed.
How to judge an agent before you hand it money
Trust in this trade is not a feeling, it is a reading exercise. Four things are either written down or they are not: who runs it, what happens when the parcel is lost, what the free check excludes, and how long goods may sit. HubbuyCN publishes HK HUBBUYCN LIMITED with a Kwun Tong address and a mainland filing number in its own footer, and the other three live in the help centre.
The second one is the most revealing, because it is the one with numbers in it. Three of the route groups it lists:
| Route | What it pays if the parcel is lost |
|---|---|
| GD-EMS, E-EMS(H), DZ-EMS, E-EMS(S) | Freight refunded at what you actually paid, capped at 2,000 yuan, plus the goods at your declared value up to the shipping fee. Partial loss pays the goods only. |
| EUB | Nothing for the freight. The goods are compensated against the freight and not above 40 yuan, and only if the parcel went missing before it went out for delivery. After that, nothing. |
| HKUPS, GD-UPS | Nothing for the freight. The goods are compensated at your declared value, capped at 600 yuan, whether the loss is total or partial. |
Read that table as a pattern rather than a promise. It says plainly that some routes pay nothing once a parcel is out for delivery, and that the declared value is a ceiling rather than a valuation. An agent willing to put that in writing is not thereby the best one. It is simply one you can argue with later, because there is a document to argue from. That is the whole test.

Other agents you will hear about, and what actually differs
You will meet a dozen names in the same forum threads. Almost all of them are doing the same four jobs: buying from the same Chinese marketplaces, receiving into a warehouse near the same ports, photographing, and handing boxes to the same handful of couriers. The couriers are the ones flying your parcel, not the agent.
So the differences that survive contact with reality are narrow, and they are all readable before you sign up. The service fee, if there is one. The exchange rate the platform applies when it converts your money, which is where a fee that reads as zero can still cost you. The list of routes, because route choice decides both price and what is allowed to fly. The storage window. And the compensation terms, which only matter on the day they matter.
The figure shows where HubbuyCN sets out its own version. It splits the bill three ways, the goods, the flight and the customs charge, gives the declaration cost as one small figure, and closes with a line saying nothing is added on top of those. Every agent should have a page like it. Finding that page and reading it is the comparison. A table of stars assembled by somebody who never shipped anything is not.
