What a HubbuyCN order actually costs
The HubbuyCN service and fees page states the structure directly: the total is the item cost plus the international shipping fee plus customs charges. Item cost is the product price plus the domestic shipping from the seller to the warehouse. International shipping is calculated from weight, shipping method and destination. Customs declaration is given as around RMB 8 for a parcel, depending on method.
The same page states that apart from item cost and shipping fee, no handling fee is required, and that value added services are chosen by the user.

What a finished waybill looks like
This is the second payment in its final form. The useful detail is that the lines are itemised, so you can see what you are paying for rather than a single merged number.
Payment channels are not interchangeable
HubbuyCN offers several ways to pay, and each carries its own handling fee, displayed next to it at checkout. Settlement happens in USD, and the interface notes that non USD payments may be converted by your bank, which is a second spread on top of the handling fee.
The practical consequence is that the cheapest looking channel is not always the cheapest one after your bank has taken its turn. Check the figure shown next to each option rather than assuming.

The cost of storing versus the cost of shipping twice
Storage is free for up to 300 days on a normal parcel, and freight is charged per parcel. That is the whole arithmetic behind consolidation: two small boxes almost always cost more to fly than one slightly larger box.
Consolidate only while the selected route accepts the actual contents, packed dimensions and weight. Compare separate and combined quotes; splitting creates another parcel charge and does not remove import requirements.
